are more forum regulars that know the solutions to the common problems
nowadays. I originally wrote this FAQ for WWE Redux, but the project has
since disbanded due to internal conflicts, so since I spent some time
researching, gathering information, and typing this document I decided to

Q. My game isn't saving anymore! HELP!
A. Blackjacket (great hacker) will tell us the solution to this one
Well after about 3 hours of trial and error and refusing to go to sleep
until I fixed it..I found a solution. Somehow I refrained from both
destroying the house when my shit got fucked and then jumping for joy when
I fixed it. Okay but for people if this ever happens to you here's a little
Now I wondered hell, what's the point of a save state if you cant really
1) I made a save state in the Smackdown! mall, because memory stays temporary
in there.but once you get out it unsaves..if that unsave bug is happening.
2) I moved the .fla native save out of my save folder and put it somewhere
safe.just in case the save state didn't work or something.
3) I started the game. Now I tried just simply going to the save state I
made and then just saving, but that didn't work. I remembered that in some
ways the save state and native memory are independent, so technically, the
native game won't know your in the Smackdown mall and therefore, it's
pointless..sooo without loading the save state yet, I went into the Smackdown
mall and to the superstar edit. Everything should be in default. So next,
I merely went to one of the stars changed a letter in their name and saved.
4) Leave the smackdown mall, the new save should be 'broken in' so to speak.
Go back into the smackdown mall and into the edit superstar section again.
5) NOW load up your save state. Your whole original roster should be there.
6) Edit a few superstars before leaving.not actually edit, but just go in
and save. Do it a few times more to make sure and pan through all stables
just in case. Leave the mall all the way until the main menu.
7) Go back in and everything should be fresh and you'll be able to save again.
Cheers

Q. Help my game gives me this message ('No hardware-accelerated Direct3D
devices were found. Switching to the reference rasterizer, a software device
that implements the entire Direct3D feature set, but runs verly slowly')
and it looks like it's running but nothings happening!
A. Wrestling.Swami HG (great modder) will tell us the solution to this one
When I started up PJ64, and opened WWF No Mercy, it would go through the
'Loaded: XX&' counter, loaded the hires textures, and then an error message
'No hardware-accelerated Direct3D devices were found. Switching to the
reference rasterizer, a software device that implements the entire Direct3D
But clicking 'OK,' PJ64 would appear to keep on running, with the FPS meter
If you still have PJ64 running, close it, and follow these steps:
SOLUTION:
1. Go to the Start Menu and click on 'Control Panel.'
2. Double click on the 'Display' Icon.
NOTE #1: If you're running XP, or you don't see a 'Display Icon,' click on
3. In the new window ('Display Properties'), choose the 'Settings' tab.
4. Click on the 'Advanced' button.
5. In the new-new window, select the 'Troubleshoot' tab.
6. There, move the 'Hardware acceleration:' slider all the way to 'Full.'
7. Click 'Apply.' The screen will go black for a moment, don't wory, that's
just the monitor adjusting to the new settings. Close all the windows, and
after a restart of PJ64, everything should be working.

Q. Why does wrestler mod x have x attire, when he wears x attire now?
A. Because wrestlers like to change attires alot
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. Why isn't wrestler mod x available?
A. Because texture modders are human and they have to rely on resources
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. Why does wrestler mod x's moveset suck? There's moves missing!
A. Because you suck? Seriously the moveset might be outdated by the time
you have this mod as wrestlers can continue to learn new moves.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. Why do the wrestlers body's look blocky?
A. That's because this is an N64 game which has awesome gameplay
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. How do I load up a mempak?
A.
- Make a backup of the file 'WWF No Mercy.mpk'
- Place the mempak that you found in a mod into save folder
- Make sure the mempak is named 'WWF No Mercy.mpk'
- Go to the data area in SD mall to copy the CAW into the game
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. Why isn't WWE/TNA/ROH/CZW/AJPW/NOAH/CMLL/PWG/IWS/AAA/ect. in this save
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. Why are you the best?
A. Because I am

I made this back in 2007 so it might be a little outdated, but it's information is still valuable and may help with any common problems that you might be experiencing.
Special thanks to Flying Toaster as I forgot I had made this.
