After every playthrough of Lab Rat, we are disinfecting every object and surface that must be touched as part of the game.
We are allowing for additional time between every booking to ensure proper sanitization and to air out the space.
Groups will be asked to remain outside the building until 10 minutes before their start time, and they will no longer be allowed to stay in the lobby after their game is complete.
Our escape room bookings remain private, so you’ll never share the space with strangers.
Any players exhibiting signs of illness will not be allowed inside Lab Rat, nor will any member of their group.
All playerswill be required to wear face coverings. Given the difficulty of procuring disposable masks, we ask that you provide your own.
Our employees will always wear face coverings and stand at least 6 feet from all team members.
Therefore, please be aware that all bookings will have to follow our guidelines:
Every member of your team must wear a face covering at all times (both in the lobby and inside Lab Rat). We will provide gloves and hand sanitizer.
Every member of your team will stay at least 6 feet from any Hatch employees. (Don’t worry, they’ve been told to do the same for you.)
Every member of your team is healthy. If one team member is showing signs of illness (including fever, cough, shortness of breath), we cannot allow any of the team members to enter the room.
The lobby will only open 10 minutes before your game start time, and you’ll skedaddle as soon as possible after your game is over.

LAB RAT takes place in a laboratory where giant rats are doing experiments on human beings, specifically you! The somewhat unhinged Ratkenstein, a doctoral student in the field of human intelligence (or, in his estimation, the lack thereof), has tasked you with completing a series of tests and puzzles. If you succeed, he can finally write his dissertation. If you fail, he’s going to put you and your friends in the old test-subject chipper (like a wood chipper, but for test subjects!). You’ll have one hour to complete the tests and attempt to get out of the laboratory for good, before Ratkenstein turns you into mulch!
