Ideally what I need from the invoicing software is to be able to select a service ('item') from a list (such as block mount, canvas stretch, lamination, etc), be able to enter a bit in the description field but then be able to enter a price for that job. I could do it by entering a slightly longer description but the list option would be very powerful because I could look at the reports and see what services we do more of and tweak the advertising or decide which hardware to upgrade / invest in. At the moment this software won't let me do that because the Item has a locked price - there isn't an option to enter an individual price for a given job.
