• I've created a Windows7 WVD and successfully accessed to it. Everything's working fine except Speech Recognition (i.e. Mic redirection). I'm accessing to WVD via 'Microsoft Remote Desktop' on macOS and the default Remote Desktop on Windows OS with using a RDP file. Both clients didn't work. Here are what I tried or checked: 1.
• The client machine is OS X Yosemite, running Microsoft Remote Desktop Version 8.0.12 (Build 25282) I have configured a folder for redirection in the OS X RDP client, with the 'name' field as 'andrew', and the 'path' field as /Users/andrew. This works correctly.

It should show up under Devices with Removable Storage. When you add the folder in Remote Desktop try clicking browse when adding the folder and confirm its the right path to the projects folder. Improve this answer. Answered Oct 20 '14 at 20:24.

Note that I confirmed with Microsoft Partner support that you CAN use both User Profile Disks AND GP Folder Redirection at the same time. (Thank you Steven at Microsoft)
