Adblock Plus For Chrome 10.6.8BRAND NEW install of the operating system trying to overcome this huge annoyance.
Ran it for quite awhile testing it after wiping the OS and no problems at all. Almost as soon as I installed Adblock the problem returned.
AdBlock Plus is garbage with Firefox on a Mac running OS 10.6.8 now. Every time I go to Yahoo mail, and very rarely from maybe a couple sites I haven't tracked down yet, the site puts invisible pages in the Window menu, they just show up as blank lines in the window menu. No windows are actually there for the entries at all.
After that, if you close the window, you'd expect to click the dock icon and just launch a new window with your home page there. But no, when you leave Firefox it no longer will launch from the dock until you quit the program completely. This is garbage, it has happened within the last month and some new bug has been introduced in AdBlock causing this. I have had no problems for YEARS using Firefox and been using Adblock for a very long time until this nonsense. I have JUST done a complete reinstall of my Operating System attempting to track this down, and YEP it's DEFINITELY AdBlock causing this. I've been trying to track this down for almost a month now and there is absolutely no doubt any more where this is coming from. Please fix it, AdBlock is nearly useless if it's going to cause weirdness like this that has not happened for years.
I did a lot of testing on the web before installing AdBlock again and it's the only addon installed and the problem started up right away again as soon as it was installed.
